Family. Dedication. Determination. Sacrifice.

F.  D.  D.  S. – the guiding principles of the Hoover High School Bands.

Through these principles, the Hoover Bands have achieved great successes, whether on the field of competition, on the symphonic stage, in a Jazz festival, a percussion championship, a dance competition, or color guard contest.

Hoover Band students also excel individually, with many performers winning prestigious scholarships to top-ranked colleges and conservatories across the US.

The Hoover Invitational Marching Festival is held the 3rd Saturday in October each year at the Hoover Metropolitan Stadium in Hoover, Alabama. Hoover Metropolitan Stadium is an excellent facility for hosting the Hoover Invitational. It has plenty of parking, large restrooms, numerous concession stands, ample warm up areas, easy field access for bands and their equipment, and is easily accessible from major interstates.
